Pay attention in class, all of the material that is graded is at least touched upon in class. Do commit to memory as much information (such as formulas, possibly unit circle, etc. ) as possible, as soon as possible. Attempt to complete as homework as possible as this is both a key way to test your own knowledge and a key part of your grade in the classroom.

It's very important for a student to want to learn to be able to do well in these classes. Being able to memorize the formulas is key, especially unit circle (it always shows up). Homework is also one of the easiest ways to "study" because everything assigned is catered towards what is going to be on the tests, nothing she assigns is "busy work".
