While the readings are sometimes boring, the discussions and conversations are awesome. They may seem casual but everything is connected. Be involved with the class discussions, pay attention to lectures, do the readings and you'l be fine. Not many exams but a huge chunk of the class are projects and papers. Lots of creative activities, debates, and writing. The class is very... independent learning. If you fail it's because you chose not to pay attention. Great class and educational but fun!

Class is a flipped classroom which has to be the dumbest invention ever. the whole point of a teacher is to teach in a manner students understand not learn from a different teacher online and have your actual teacher get paid for doing nothing. If a teacher isnt capable of teaching to students so that they can understand the content then they shouldnt teach.

read the book and participate in class discussions - he likes to see effort but doesn't suffer fools well so beware i wouldn't be the student i am today without this class hands down the best teacher at this school
