Make sure to do the text book work and guided notes if he gives them! Also, he says to not write down every little thing in your notes, but you kind of have to because often he'll put random things on tests and quizzes. You don't need to memorize everything, but make sure you are very familiar.

PRACTICE AT HOME! Also, make sure you learn grammar rules and vocabulary at home because she believes in learning through usage, but she rarely explains any grammar and most students are left blindly guessing unless they learn at home. If you practice at home, you'll do fine.
