The class itself is quite challenging, expect to work around 4-7 hours a week depending on your time management on assignments and studying. Lectures are provided, being an AP class do not procrastinate (I am learning the hard way on this issue).

Her class was amazing and very fun. It’s an English class so of course there’s a lot of writing and reading but Dahms can always keep the class intrested. Homework is assigned pretty often but isn’t an insane amount, essays and such are never too hard but aren’t easy either, as long as you try you’ll be good

To succeed in this class you have to be completely independent. You will not be taught the material and you must teach yourself everything. Grades are not curved and class averages are lower than the other Honors Bio class. If you are in the position to do so, take AP Biology instead

Make sure you study really well and memorize all formulas. Take after school extra help if needed, and make sure you REALLLY study hard for the tests and quizzes.

Make sure you do well on the labs, because they are worth more than tests/quizzes.

Her health class is very easy and you can use your notes on the final BUT she never posts any resources on google classroom Her gym class is insanely boring and she tends to talk herself in circles when she really needs to just get on with class

class is all about memorization and homework the homework is the same stuff as the tests something she wont tell you is those little games you play before the test the jeopardy is whats on the test she doesnt teach it but thats where your study guide is because the questions on the jeopardy are the test

There’s a lot you might not understand in this class, so always look at other sources before completing work if you’re unsure about anything.

To succeed in this class, you must be extremely independent and should not expect that the teacher or the class material will prepare you for any of your quizzes or test. The only way to pass this class is to learn through resources such as YouTube and Khan Academy. The class material and will often confuse the class to it is best that you prepare the material yourself before the class so that you know the material and will not be confused or put in a situation where you will need to unlearn the techniques that you learned in class as they are often flawed and confusing to most students. Additionally, understand that your grade will be much lower than you expect and I highly recommend you take AP Chem if you feel that your grasp on science is ok as the AP teachers is much better.

Mr Z will almost always use slides to teach and they are always posted on classroom. There’s not too much homework but there is a lot of writing that can be difficult
