AP United States History: - don't fall behind in doing the BEAST packets, they can be really overwhelming to do the night before the test - keep up on the work, studying for APUSH is hard so doing the work is the best way to understand the content - participate a lot, it will help so much with understanding the content

Hsu Lao Shi (Teacher Hsu) may be strict, but she isn't strict in the way that other teachers might be. She knows exactly how to run a class efficiently, while maintaining an environment where students can have fun learning if they pay attention. Take good notes, do the homework., and enjoy the class. She is very easily one of the best, if not, THE BEST teacher RHS has to offer. Her class is always engaging, and she is truly a treasure to the school.

Physics H: - taking this class can be terrible, especially online - the lectures are very long and you learn very little with sparse practice on key topics - might as well take AP Physics or another science class as regular physics is not good at all - math isn't terrible (I'm in Algebra II as a junior) but can be frustrating as application of formulas and math needed isn't explained well

AP English Language and Composition: - PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR SANITY, KEEP UP WITH THE READING - From day 1 you NEED to set aside time to read every single. day, and hour at least. Taking this class and falling behind on the reading is pointless and often extremely frustrating if you have to write essays on the books - A very big participation class, you have to get over your shyness and just raise your hand. Reading the books will help a lot - For the Profiles in Courage essay, start writing as research it early. I procrastinated on mine and it ended up being a huge headache for me
