Mr. Proto is very mellow, and equable, very approachable with any subject-matter such as work. The activities are fun, with a memorable one being able to drop a rock from differing heights onto a sand-like surface. Towards the end of the first semester (and essentially the end of class) we took a field trip to Sheehan High School to visit their observatory, which was really neat; and a huge props to Mr. Proto for allowing us to experience that. The workload isn’t very heavy, and occasionally, Mr. Proto doesn’t give us work following a class. It’s safe to say that Mr. Proto makes Astronomy worthwhile.
