What advice would you give yourself if you were just starting the class now?

Class of 2025

If Mr V. is your teacher for Algebra 1, expect the class to be very hard. I had to learn most of the material for this class myself, so expect many late nights reviewing a textbook.

Class of 2025

I had Mr V. first period of the day, and he would always start class 10-15 minutes before the bell rung, even if we had a test, making the class extremely unfair. Mr V. would also take tests at the same time as the students. so if a student went up to his desk, he/she would see the test answers. Mr. V clearly had only taught Algebra I a few times because he did not know most of the material for the class and it often felt like he would give us a note sheet and then we would teach ourselves how to do the unit.
