Note: This references AP Biology This course is difficult. You definitely need to be able to memorize things effectively. There is a lot of homework in addition to textbook-reading, and though it isn't "mandated", don't let yourself fall behind. Take the notes even if she isn't going to look at them or grade them. Not only will this help you review for in class assessments, but also the AP Exam in May. They say that AP classes are designed to mimic a college curriculum, and Galuska has designed the class so that the workload and in-class assessments operate the same way. There is even a cat dissection after the AP Exam, the test for which she "modeled off [her own] college experiences". There is nothing worse than coming to class unprepared, but this hold true especially in Galsuka's AP Bio Class.
