For the freshmen physical science, just finish the work in class, he gives you enough time to finish it and not have homework. The class is pretty easy to understand. It's generally the easiest class I've taken in highschool. Just complete the work at the very least and you should be fine, even if you flunk any tests/exams. Also, attend the chapter meetings & try getting more involved! You may end up liking it.
Do the assignments on time, don't procrastinate, and take every extra credit opportunity. Her class was a bit difficult but wasn't boring. The class is generally easier than many of the other English classes provided for seniors.
