Though homework is not graded, it is very good if you do at least a few questions to properly understand the concept. However, just doing the notes in class and making sure you can do any problem if given is also possible. Tests are a lot like the homework - if you get any problem in the homework wrong, make sure to ask about it to the teacher so you can take that into account for assessments. The class is only graded based on quizzes and tests, so make sure you can do those decently.

Had Mr. Conlay for Alg2Trig. Very chill guy, very chill class. BUT DON'T LET THAT DECEIVE YOU. If you don't do the homework, you're screwed. He makes homework optional, but it is in your best interest to do it. The problems he assigns for homework is very similar to the test. Pay attention to the lectures.

Mr. Conlay is one of my favorite math teachers - Not requiring homework took out a lot of stress that would be in my life if he had required it, and all I had to do was make sure I understood his lectures and do the problems correctly. Hilarious, too, and easygoing if you just do your work as you're supposed to.
