Class of 2026

The professor is very understanding and understands that people have lives outside of just school. She is invaluable and respectful to students. Some examples I could think of off the top of my head are she asked students pronouns and preferred names, made sure to update students on any changes and resources that might help them, and ensured that all students felt comfortable and understood what she was teaching. Professor G. is very nice and also ensures her students are on track, always wanting what is best for everyone in the room. I think that she is great at balancing being friendly with students while also making sure to play the role of a College professor, and making sure everyone is on track and not distracted. When the class would rarely get off track, she would make sure to put them back on track but also kept time for students to share their different opinions with each other! It was by far my favorite class of the semester, and I would take it a second time if I could. She is a new teacher, but you can tell she is very passionate about what she does and knows how to bring light to Asian Ethnic Studies. I definitely recommend the course!
