Class of 2021
Wendy Marquez is one of the worst teachers I have had. She believes everyone should be at the same pace and will not adjust lessons according to how fast or how slow the class absorbs the information. She will cram information in near the end of class, because she can not manage her lessons well, forcing students to either teach themselves the rest of the lesson or be confused. She constantly compares classes with sayings such as “You are the only class that has had trouble with this lesson” “Every other class has gotten farther than you guys because you cannot be quiet”, this is really quite demeaning. She gets heated over the smallest smidge of comments, that do not disrupt the rest of the class and only her. She gives too much homework, having to spend multiple hours on the assignment and leaving no time for homework for other classes to be done. She will also keep the class in after the bell rings in order to cram in more of the lesson rather than just adjusting her schedule accordingly.
