The homework quizes are really nice on Edmodo (distance learning), make sure you completely read the textbook section though (even though it is boring). At first his class may seem pretty hard with the first assignment about "What is History" being super confusing, but later on it gets much simpler.
Using the papers that he tells you to use is very important. You should also right down a lot of theorums since this is a skills based class
