Remember all the individual kanji and combinations, as one test requires you to make up 10-15 words from a kanji bank. Review the lessons at your own time at home, then practice verbally in class. It is recommended to make your own notes and copy down practices in class, as a certain amount of the practice questions in the book will be for class work.
