for AP specifically, there are a LOT of notes to write, but if you do the notes and pay attention as much as you can, you can average a B and maybe an A

Pay attention in class and you will have a better time on the hw. If you do the hw and pay attention the tests will be easy.

Before each unit make sure to get a genera idea of what the unit is about. You must know the importance of natural selection, formation of the world, and fossils.

Sometimes he goes on long talks, but after them you will probably learn something

Mr. Collins sometimes gets mad and tries to explain things in confusing ways, then expects us to understand. He will make directions unclear and then get mad when we don't understand or expect us to know things that are not on the study guide and barely gone over. It's important to pay attention in this class or you will get called out by the teacher. Also, don't ask too many questions or he might get mad. The homework can be a lot sometimes so make sure not to procrastinate. I would not recommend debating with him about climate change or any controversial topic. Overall, this is a good class and I did learn a lot so I appreciate that he was always willing to help us.
