Reading the textbook pages assigned is not necessary, I would just suggest reviewing the final five questions of each chapter the night you learn that chapter so you have an idea of what could be on a pop quiz if it is given. In addition, never ask whether or not you have a pop quiz at the beginning of the day because he always writes them and picks and chooses which classes he wants to give pop quizzes to, and his favorite saying is "if you ask if there's a quiz there will be one. " Also, take the research paper guidelines seriously but your actual paper doesn't need to have a lot of content because he doesn't care that much.

Always have your textbook and materials, and make sure you can answer her questions (which typically aren't too difficult if you pick up a language easily). Also, artistic abilities and effort in artistic projects earn you a better grade. Overall, being kind and respectful in this class will get you a long way as most people disrespect her. Being nice and saying hi in the halls will get you a one-up.

She loves to give quizzes every single week, if not a quiz she'll give a test. The course is extremely rapid and rarely is she available for office hours. When going to her office hours she'll always be found talking to another teacher and having a long conversation with them for about 20 min in front of you before she asks you if you need help. While there isn't much writing in the hw, the labs on the other hand are your worst nightmares. she grades them extremely strictly even taking off 2 points because I forgot to add a question mark at the end of a research question. my suggestion for you is to continue emailing her if you're unsure of something on your lab, chances are she;ll mark them off if she sees it slightly incorrect. She is however super efficient at replying to emails. when taking this class, make sure you know what you are signing up for.

Always pay attention, and the most important thing is to always only be on tabs related to the Bible class on your computer. He loves to confiscate computers so be careful. He loves students that are invested and ask a lot of questions. Don't be afraid to bring difficult topics about the Bible to him because he loves to debate them and propose interesting questions, but make sure you read up and pay attention or you could be caught in a sticky situation. The key to this class is being engaged because anybody who isn't paying attention doesn't do well.
