Remember MLA format. Essays are bulk of grade. Practice writing fun stuff when you can because essays are boring. Don't pick any Charles Dickens books for advanced English because they're a pain to read, Annotate your books.

Do the work, if you grind it out with writing it you can finish al the work and homework before leaving school. Enjoy the class, it's fun. Lesson games and tests are a big part of the grade. A lot of the lesson game questions are on the test, so work on knowing those.
