Definitely stay on top of your assignments and don't get on her bad side or you may get some bias in your grade. Don't be stupid and turn in stuff on time. DO THE READING LOGS and don't just read the back of the book and expect to pass the AR quiz. DO all the extra credit assignments she gives out because trust me, they will be a lifesaver in the end. Even if you are not the greatest writer in the class when it comes to the many essays, as long as you turn in everything on time and turn in decent work, you will pass the class with either a B or A.
