Do all of the work, be quiet and listen.

- review often, but not excesively; 5 minutes a day is more than enough if you pay attention in class - classwork answers are almost verbatim of the notes - BE SURE to do the pre-labs unless you are ok with partial credit

this is the absolute GOAT of history teachers. He always tries to relate to the class with funny examples, jokes, etc. and he clearly knows what he's talking about. Your grade is based on only assessments, but he lets you retake them up to 4 times, so you should be fine. Definitely don't expect to succeed as soon as you get in his class, since there's kind of a learning curve for WHAP. Even though your grade is only based on tests, i HIGHLY recommend doing the homework to get an idea of what you're doing in class, and he gives an assessment grade for your homework as well. Otherwise, he's a very good teacher and you'll have a great experience in his class! 🔥

I took the AP Spanish Literature Class so its more understandable that its so much work but the organization of the course work being distributed could've been better. Make sure you stay on top of work because its really easy to fall behind. Listen to audiobooks as you read the lectures!

Had her for sociology, she is very great at teaching and making lectures fun. You will have to do a current event once every semester which is not too bad but do not do it last minute! Workload was fine, I recommend trying to finish it in class rather than at home. You can always email her or talk to her for any support, super understanding and kind teacher to all.

If you are struggling, definitely communicate with him. He is super kind and understanding, he helped me not just academically but also with my mental health. He is very accepting of late work if you have an excuse and he offers support of all kinds if you ask. Overall, AMAZING teacher and class.

I had him for P. E. freshman year and the class is just learning sport units, like swimming, and weekly miles. Try your best on the miles because I had a bad stamina and it caused me to do bad on them. He can be intimidating and also strict.

I had Ms. Koizumi for Drama (so if you’re in her Econ/Gov class sorry this review isn’t for you). Overall the class is really fun if you’re one of those people who enjoys performing/ participate. There are many friendly people who will help you if needed, and I would always look forward to going to drama throughout the day. Everyday is something new so it’s never repetitive and can keep you entertained. My recommendation to anyone taking it for the first time: ASK! If you need help just ask. Ms. Koizumi and other students are always there to help. TLDR: if you participate and try your hardest you’ll pass. Make friends because it’s always helpful, and if you really like it take it again. Nothing is more fun than having Drama with Ms. Koizumi. #bellytea #ad (iykyk)

I had Ms. Lee for Guitar 1 and she is AWESOME. I 100% recommend taking Guitar or Piano (she also teaches that). Little to no homework, mostly just showing her that you can do the little class work she assigns. She is very helpful and you will definitely not fail as long as you do the work. She is usually accepting of late work too at the end of the semester.

I had her for English 2 and ERWC, both classes were good. In English 2, you're most likely going to read an assigned book and I highly recommend not procrastinating on it. For ERWC, we had a vocabulary test every other week so also do not procrastinate on that! Overall, Mrs. Lopez is seriously one of the best and most kindest teachers at this school! She is so sweet and understanding, just communicate with her and she will support you with whatever. If you get her, you are VERY lucky. I miss her a lot :)

Highkey just don't expect too much homework from his class, pay attention to his daily agenda, and take notes on everything that he tells you, as you will have notebook checks. Rarely has tests, but they're kinda weird and can have stuff you might've not delved into fully, but he does want people to succeed so he makes everybody retake it a number of times. also, tests/quizzes are 50% of ur grade, so definitely lock in. the final is also put in the test category, but it isn't too bad, and it's all multiple choice, and it's open-notebook, so take good notes. overall, good experience in his class, you'll do a lot of fun labs in second semester.

Take notes for each CK-12, but be warned that he will only allow 1 page of notes front and back for his weekly quiz. Take initiative for the lab, as it is group work and not explained very well. He will only go over 1 lesson a day and assign 2-4 for homework, so be ready for a lot of studying off time

If you get her for Math 3, she allows you to use half a sheet of paper as a cheat sheet but it only should have formulas, so make sure you do that early to have time to study. Memorize formulas and do not just rely on the notes and homework as a study guide, actually do practice problems of all kind. In Math Analysis, you are expected to know all the formulas (no cheat sheet) and try to pace yourself on the final. Not all of the test material is reviewed in class, only chapter notes. You will have homework everyday. Use her after school tutoring hours if you struggle or even just in case.

Mr. snarfed is a great teacher corrections are very helpful and he helps a lot with students who are struggling with concepts. Going to his tutoring sessions helps a lot for studying with quizzes make sure you stay on top of work if absent he is pretty chill about it

The work is easy if you make sure to write down notes. Most of the work is through a program online so I take screenshots of my work and add them to a google slide as notes. You have to pay really close attention to making sure every number is right but that's just accounting in general. She lets you redo assignments if you get a bad grade.

Do re takes as soon as you can and don't wait for last minute for anything. Make use of his after hours, he stays for as long as he can. Put effort in the class

I already graduated but I had Ms. Stahlke in freshman year for English 1. She is SO joyful and kind, very nurturing to her students and cares a lot for us. Workload wasn't. too bad, she always offers help and I actually enjoyed her assignments a lot. Be expected to socialize and talk to others though.

I had him for U. S. Government/Econ and his class was VERY enjoyable. The workload was good, he made assignments due at the end of the week (Friday) so you have time to complete everything. Everything, including the lecture slides, were available on Google Classroom so don't worry if you miss a day. Try your best not to do the work late as he does deduct points. The tests were pretty fair, he has study guides so definitely do those to prepare. Tests consisted of multiple choice, true/false and about 1-3 short answer paragraph questions.
