If you enjoy math you will really like this class. Otherwise, just remembering formulas for your equations is good enough. Always as questions this teacher will help you until you understand.

Dr. Davis is very fun and a great teacher. His class is entertaining and if you pay attention you will do great. There are many presentations so be ready for them.

Mrs. Figueroa does not tolerate nonsense, but she is very understanding. She might seem strict at first but she's actually very good at teaching. Just make sure to always be good or she will get angry.

This class is not very hard and groupwork is one of the leading factors to succeeding in Mr Lam's class. Projects come once every couple of months. Always complete assignments in your notebook: reading outlines, comic strips of historical things, activities, and notes. Focus on the tests and notebooks, those two are worth much of the grade. Be ready for a sore hand.

Tests in Ms. Pfeiffer's class are pretty simple even if you just remember some of the unit. Sometimes, the teacher plays a Bill Nye episode or sets up a science experiment for the student groups. All in all, you do not need to apply as much work and studying in this class than other classes.

Okay, so these tips kinda apply more to the 7th graders who have Ms. Shakir, but I could see 6th graders finding this useful. In this class, it's fast paced, so you have to be prepared and quick. Remember the syllabus, and know what you are doing, because you can easily lose points when you don't know what you're doing. hope this helps
