memorization is key for the unit tests. they will be short answer/multiple choice, and you will need to write an essay at the end. will read each chapter in class, fill out a packet on it(turn in the next day), then take a short, open notes quiz on it the next day, then you will have a unit test (desc above).

She gives out her notes for each lesson and those are very important as a study and learning tool. She teaches very well but her tests are hard. The questions almost always require a deep understanding of the concept. A common thing she will do is give similar questions to the ones done in class but replaces all the values with radicals. This is why it is also important to have a solid grasp of algebra 1 topics such as radicals and exponents. She might also now and then take problems from previous tests. The most important takeaway is to study all the material she gives you, even if it seems insignificant and study it well.
