Memorize the vocabulary the night she assigns them so they don't pile up. If you take this class seriously, you are guaranteed to do well in the higher-level language classes.

Just be safe, obviously it is a construction class and there are a lot of problems if you don't also remember what he teaches you about how to use the machines(mainly safety problems on your end). He is a very relaxed and nice teacher who is also available almost always during lunch and brunch so just be nice back.

okay, if you stay on top with your work you're gonna be fine. his work is straight forward, he will always have something on canvas. there are often group or partern work. along with class participation. there is class debates. HE ABSOLUTLY DOES NOT ALLOW HEADPHONE. work is usuaslly due sometime in class or most of the time it is due by the next time you have his class.

work with other people because normally the questions asked are unclear, so having multiple people work as extra brains is necessary. plus, due dates/timing sucks in this class so try to remember, tests have a small window of time that ranges from 10 -20 minutes but more on the short side. Presentation slides will need you to respond at times so have it on screen. Don't skimp on notes, put your answers to review questions in notes as well because having it in the box doesn't count. Due dates will change without warning so rule of thumb is no matter what get it done day before it's due or before first period starts, even if your class is sixth. normal times I see are 9:30 AM or 12:30PM for homework, 2:30PM for classwork. Finally, take any extra credit you can, it helps as an insurance policy because grading problems can occur and the style of this class makes maintaining a good grade difficult.
