6th grade P. E. in Bret Harte is most likely the most running you'll have in middle school (unless you get Mr. Genise in 8th grade). The tests are easy if you listen (we only had two tests) and the miles are graded on improvement (we had six miles), so I recommend to not try on your first mile if you want to get an A+ in this class. (I was stupid and tried and got a 7:12 first mile time and thus got a B for the next four miles).
This class is based on your participation, if you don't care about the class or try then you will fail. If you do good it's because you realize that this class is structured to help you in your everyday life and working hard and doing good shows that you will succeed in within your personal and work life as you grow older. Whether or not you have the natural athletic ability does not matter. As long as you put in effort and dedication you will do good.
