Just do your work and do it well. I loved this class, and it is definitely not as bad as people say it is. When I was there, people would complain about their bad grades, but they only got that grade because of incomplete work or late assignments. If you aren't confident with the material, study before tests. You don't have to absorb the textbook like others say you do, but don't ignore it. Study guides and notes are your friend. This class isn't nearly as hard as people make it out to be, and I had a lot of fun there

Mr. Evenhouse's class is too this day, my favorite class that I've ever taken. It's so much fun, and Mr. Evenhouse is always teaching in unconventional but effective ways. When you aren't learning history, he gives lessons on 70s and 80s pop culture, and he lets us watch movies about our subject instead of reading about it. He tells great stories and some people think Mr. E is weird, but the better term is goofy. He's funny and really cares about his subject. His extra credit projects are unique and fun, and I highly recommend doing them even if you don't need the credit. One last perk: You get donuts occasionally for answering questions and A students get to shave his head
