Really fun orchestra teacher. Try practicing the pieces she gives you and please practice often. You do not want to embarrass yourself in front of parents and sometimes the school during concerts, and she recognizes people who improve and like to play their instrument.
To succeed in Mr. Garcia's class, listen to what he tells you to do, take notes when he tells you to and keep it neat and detailed, keep your binder organized, and don't be tardy. He gives lots of extra credits and it's hard to fail his class, most people who actually put in the effort get over 100% so it's pretty good. Mr. Garcia also prepares students for high school pretty well. Also don't procrastinate (not doing work until the last minute) in his class, he usually gives the most work out of all other teachers and keeping it till the last minute will keep you up all night.
