She's a really good teacher, she just gives a lot of work and her tests are ok (but they're open note). I really miss having her class, she actually made history really interesting. She also let us listen to music in class if we were taking notes. Overall, she is a really good teacher, and you're really lucky to have her class if you get her.

In this class, the first semester will feel fairly easy. But as the semesters go on, you will be required to do more and more work. Be prepared to be spending lots of time on your Cornell Notes and your Reading Companion if you want full credit. You do get extra credit opportunities through games and other things. Also makes sure not to do all your work at home because if you finish too early and have no work to do in class. Adcock will think that you're not being produtive and will dock participation points (speaking from personal experience). Participation plays a big role in your overall grade so make sure to participate as much as possible.

Ms. Adcock's class is very interesting. Some might say it was a lot of work, but personally, I think that is you put in a good amount of effort into the notes and pay attention, you have all the information you need. Ms. Adcock is always making sure everyone is on tract, and is always happy to answer questions which is why I think I learned so much. She provided a great environment for students to share and ask without feeling judged, so take advantage of that!

To be 100% honest, Ms. Adcock is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She has left a profound impact on me, and largely because of her class, I've fallen in love with history and am taking AP courses in history related topics. She set me up so well for high school history and being able to analyze work. I really appreciate her always checking up on us and making sure that we were doing ok as humans, and always wanted to help if anything was wrong. The truly cares so much about her students and wants each and every one of them to succeed in not only her class, but wherever life takes them. I miss her and her class so much.
