Clip your nails before class, don't play on the rest, play piano at piano. Check posture especially when he's about to come around to check. PRACTICE TWICE A WEEK IN THE ROOM

Prepare yourself for a lot of yelling and frustration on both parts. You will be called out during class whether you're doing anything or not. He will also make a lot of corny jokes which you should not laugh at (he thinks they're funny but they're kind not). You will also be required two practices a week in the orchestra room, and remember to do them otherwise it will affect your grade because he barely enters any assignments into synergy. Don't forget to cut your nails, otherwise he will most definitely call you out for that and threaten to give you an "F for the day" (but don't believe him because he never lives up to that threat). Have fun!

Practice. Especially if you don't know how to play something. You gotta practice two times a week in his room, if you're not a sixth-grader. He may or may not call you out or yell sometimes, but if you need help, he'll be there. Enjoy your time in orchestra, I miss it a lot.
