Mr. Diehl does a great job teaching Japanese that you never need to spend hours memorizing things. Most of the practice is in class and the only times you get homework is to finish your vocab list or workbook pages. Speaking of which, making vocab lists and completing the workbook can be a bit monotonous just so you know. Other than that, this is a class that you shouldn't have trouble with at all if you put in effort and focus. Despite the boring bookwork, though, Mr. Diehl makes learning Japanese very fun. He always makes jokes, is very supportive and patient, never yells at the class, and is someone you could talk to casually if you wanted to (but don't do it in the middle of class obviously). P. Mr. Garcia's biology class was a great experience. Make sure to complete your notes thoroughly and review your vocab and most of the material will come easily to you. Biology is a fun subject overall and if you pay attention in class and to lectures it is an easy A.
