Most exams are open-book, so don't worry too much about memorizing every single little detail from the textbook. The textbook used in class is standardized across many schools, and therefore there a re plenty of premade Quizlets online that can help you study for Chapter Assessments

The criticism I have for this class is that the teacher greatly overestimates what students can accomplish in just an hour. Written notes are usually due at the end of class, which consist of watching one or two 5-15 minute videos and taking notes on 15-30 pages of the textbook itself. She also has a tendency to speak at a very fast pace, which can be difficult to keep up with sometimes. However, other than that, I can say for certain this she leads an excellent Honors Biology class. She obviously knows what she is talking about when it comes to biology, and that is very clear in her overall demeanor. She is an extremely competent teacher and is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of biology. Highly reccomended.
