- Almost all of the tests are multiple choice - there is one oral exam during second semester (great depression), it is probably the most challenging test in the class, make sure to start prepping as soon as the unit starts - the class will be easier if you connect events, not just memorize them

Mr. Cronin made government not completely boring which is impressive in itself. There is not a lot of homework at all if you do your work in class (which he gives you plenty of time for), and he lets you work in groups and talk to people as long as you are mostly on track. The subject matter was not very interesting but honestly Mr. Cronin is awesome.
Class of 2023
Mr. Cronin, he is a super nice person. My siblings had him and while they disliked history, they loved his class because he didn't bombard them with a ton of memorization and boring lectures. The homework is easy and the tests are easy. The tests are a mixture of multiple choose, matching, fill-ins. My siblings said that they actually learned and retained information because of his teaching style. For instance, some homework assignments are crossword puzzles. It's not all lecture/read chapters/test. He teaches so the material is learned well. Do the work and you shouldn't get less than a "B". Unfortunately, he was never my teacher but you are lucky if you have him.

Mr. Cronin is a very chill and kind teacher, do not be afraid to ask questions! The notes are pretty much just fill in the blank so it may get boring at times - also often assignments and slides are not actually posted properly so make sure you know what you have to do so you don't fall behind. There is usually no homework though. Overall not bad, pay attention to the key words and events, you will succeed in the class.
