One very important piece of advice I would give to any student taking Mr. Marino’s class is to go into it with an open heart and a positive attitude, because his class is not just an ordinary class it’s an incredibly meaningful, motivating, and life-changing experience. Mr. Marino is an extremely understanding, patient, and inspiring teacher who genuinely cares about his students both inside and outside the classroom. He encourages everyone to be curious, creative, and confident. His lessons are always full of energy, passion, and thought-provoking ideas that make you want to learn more. He doesn’t just teach the subject he teaches you how to think, how to believe in yourself, and how to handle the challenges life throws your way. What makes Mr. Marino’s class so special is that he goes far beyond textbooks and tests. He has this unique ability to connect with his students on a deep and personal level. He helped me get involved in so many exciting things school activities, clubs, and projects that I never thought I’d have the confidence to join. Because of him, I discovered new interests and found the courage to try new things. Even during hard times, when my parents were going through a difficult divorce, Mr. Marino was there for me. He gave me encouraging advice, listened when I needed to talk, and helped me stay focused when everything felt like it was falling apart. He reminded me that school can be a safe and supportive place, and that learning can actually be healing. If you want to succeed in Mr. Marino’s class, my advice is to stay organized, participate in everything you can, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Take notes carefully, because his lessons often connect in ways you’ll realize later. Stay respectful, curious, and open-minded, because he values effort and honesty more than perfection. Most importantly, enjoy the process of learning because in his class, you don’t just earn grades, you gain wisdom, confidence, and a new way of seeing the world

Too much work, with little to no lectures.

Mr. Marino has been one of the most supportive, understanding, and encouraging teachers I’ve ever had. He truly cares about his students as people, not just as learners. He helped me through a really difficult time when my parents were going through a divorce, and he always made sure I felt heard and supported. His class is full of creativity, inspiration, and positive energy that makes learning enjoyable. He motivates everyone to be their best selves, and he pushes us to believe in our own potential. I’m very grateful for everything he’s done for me and for how much he’s helped me grow, both academically and personally.
