This is for creative writing students. Make sure you do that big writing project. It must be 2, 500 words or more. It can be one of the following: A script/scene, a collection of poems/musings, a short story, non-fiction that matters to you, song lyrics/raps, a collection of journal entries (themed)/recipes & stories, a graphic novel (words matter), or a not so simple children's story. He gives you from September to end of April to do it (before APs). For your first semester final, you need to have around half your writing project's rough draft. Then he lets you choose who you'd let to edit/read your writing. During that final, you read and critique three other students' projects. (For me, I had around a fourth of my writing project's rough draft done, but that's because I was writing a whole 120-page movie script. Mr. A was fine with it and gave me full credit since I wrote a lot. ) Before spring finals, you need to have your full rough draft and you have three people read and critique your writing project again. For your final, you turn in your finished writing project. Toward the middle of the year, you have another project where you design an album cover and choose around 12 songs max to write in the back. These songs need to be like the story of your life. Almost every day, you write 100 words on Canvas for a writing prompt/question. It's really easy and you're mostly writing about yourself. They're really easy. It's possible to pass the class with doing everything except the big writing project. However, you will have a really low C. So if you don't want to do that big writing project, make sure you get an A on everything else.
