Stay with the course, even through the first few months of writing. It will get much easier after the first one or two units. Dr. Allan will always give great feedback, make sure you try to apply it to your future works. If you do the improvement will be huge!

The geometry class requires just about as much memorization as one would expect, but Mr. Diaz tries to make it easy for us.

A good way is to stay on top of your work. There is a lot of memorization involved in her Physiology class. Other than that, it is a fairly easy and interesting class.

Proggy 1-2 is fun, but if you have previous programming experience its pretty easy. In the second semester you have a lot of extra credit opportunities that are a nice challenge. You will spend most of your breaks and lunch in his room playing Minecraft and goofing off. Overall teacher grade 18/15 ;^)

For AP European History: this class isn't too hard as long as you pay attention in class and do the homework. While some can get away without doing all the work assigned and still finish with a good grade, make it easy on yourself and try your best in the class by doing the reading. Ms. Greenberg gives a lot of chances to help raise your grade with small projects and frequent extra credit questions on tests. good luck!

The class I'm discussing is AP Language and Composition. AP Comp will be one of the most difficult classes students at Redwood take, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't enjoy it. It is extremely difficult to earn an A in this class, although it is totally possible, but if you do your work and show up to class it isn't too difficult to get a B. Don't stress too much about your grade in the class and just appreciate and try to enjoy the work you do and you will not regret taking AP Comp with Mr. Hettleman.

Make quizlets with all of the vocab terms on the reading list, and review the comprehension questions as well. The tests are hard and absolutely require studying to get above a C. All of the classwork is graded thoroughly, not just on completion, so you have to put extra effort into it.

nonfiction is harder than you might think it is. read the books as best you can, but sparknotes will suffice if you couldn't get the reading done.

Make sure to make up for any missed runs/activities, because this accounts for a majority of your grade. If you show up and put in a good effort, everything is graded fairly. Tests are only given at the end of each unit and for finals week.

Tests and quizzes account for 70% of your grade, so it is important to study thoroughly before the exam (DO NOT try to cheat, or you'll get an automatic F). Tests are given every other week (usually on Fridays). Homework isn't 'graded', but it's checked at the end of each week for credit, so make sure to keep up to date with assignments. If you have any questions or don't understand a certain concept, she has help-hours available throughout the week.

make sure to ask for help if you need it. both of the classes she teaches are difficult, but you will have to be the one who reaches out to her. she is also always available. very few people succeed without reaching out. also you'll have a test every week unless otherwise stated, so make sure to get extra sleep thursday nights.

AP world is a great first ap to start with, especially with Mrs. Tep! You obviously will have a lot of reading but you could get by just using 5able. The course work is very manegabe because besides the notes/reading you mainly will not have homework and all of it is done in class. Mrs Tep's lecture's are very good and at a easy pace to follow and she is great whenever you are confused, and knows the information well. She overall is a very sweet person, however she prepares you VERY well for the AP exam and grades you like other AP graders do which may lower your grade but is helpful for the future!
