Had Lee for chem--I honestly love chem but I happen to be a huge STEM nerd. One of my friends dropped the class 2nd sem because a lot of the class is conceptual and some people may find it hard to visualize a lot of concepts in chem. To me it's a pretty easy class and although there is definitely some studying involved it wasn't a lot compared to other classes (like for a midterm I would study by quickly reviewing everything a day before the test).
Had her for AP HUG. HUG was definitely a different type of class than I was used to, but looking back it wasn't difficult. The AP test itself was kind of a mess (because of covid, AP did their best :, )) but it wasn't particularly difficult--it's like a history course so there's always memorization. Learned a lot about the world and geography (previously I had thought Switzerland was next to Norway and didn't know Oman was in the Middle East if that gives you an idea of where I was before this class).
The class is super helpful and pushes you more than the average class. The teacher is my favorite teacher I've ever had as she takes time to get to know her student and is incredibly witty/funny. The class is easy as long as you do the work and even if you don't her policy for missing work isn't strict as she does accept late work all the way up until the semester is basically over. My best advice in the class is get to know her and don't be rude or inconsiderate of her time and effort. Do the reading it's important since she does implicate pop quizzes, EMAIL HER she responds quickly and is very helpful, and ask for help she loves assisting and teaching (obviously) she's very passionate about it so use her as a resource. If you like to read and write this is the teacher for you, she refuses to let anyone slip through the cracks in her class she will not let her students fail. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
