Home EC is hard to fail. VERY hard to fail. Ask Mrs. Applin about the burnt rag. Class teaches important things such as sewing and cooking, but teacher also goes over basic financial stuff like how to write a check, and simulating buying a home/apartment on a budget. Very practical class and the teacher is like a happy grandma you wanna hug, but she's pretty quick-witted and sassy when she wants to be. Easy course, easy to coast through, though keep some of the stuff she gives you like recipes, how-tos; they're useful. They're typically paper hand-outs.
