I was never an instrument person, I only took the course because I was forced to continue violin, so please take this all with a grain of salt. Teacher is strict, to the point, and punctual; no fooling around. You don't talk out loud. For practice, students are given a sheet with different songs on each page and are expected to practice and advance to the next page. Class typically begins with the whole class doing a song sheet, but it would have to be done over and over until no one made a mistake. Then, one at a time, each student would have to stand up and do the song they were on. If you did it wrong, you had to sit back down again. Gave you the same type of nervousness/stress as your group being called up for a presentation.
