Just try your best and STUDY!!! The only way you are going to get an A or a B in Humanities with the Davises is if you actually put the effort in. During the year, it will be bad. Like I mean it, really bad. You will feel like this class is torture, and you will probably have a lot of breakdowns. However, this is just because you are actually LEARNING stuff. I left the class with so much knowledge that applies to everyday life, and I feel like a grammar queen after Mrs. Davis's DOL tests. Learn everything they give you because one way or the other you will always use these materials. Overall, if you put the effort in, and get help when you need it, you will succeed in this class, and get the grade you actually deserve.

Oh my god, where do I even start? I do not remember having a teacher like Mrs. Davis. She is one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. She is very knowledgeable and cares about every student in her class. She closely monitors her students and can talk about any of them when asked without even looking at the grade book. She speaks from her heart, and I find it very remarkable because not many teachers pay close enough attention to their students despite the students' grades. She is always there when you need help, and I mean it. She lets you get an extra point when you review your vocab tests if you got a specific grade. She always gives you a chance, an opportunity to learn, and better yourself. She prepared me to take an AP class this year, and I am doing pretty well. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity of having Mrs. Davis as my teacher. She is not only a good teacher but also a kind and generous human being. I loved every minute of that class. If I could have her as my teacher again, I would agree without even the slightest doubt.
