He gives these mastery quizzes where if you don't get 100%, you get 0% and you have to come in on your own time and retake it until you get 100. I literally took a harder math class senior year so I wouldn't even have the chance (1 in 3) of getting him for pre-calc.

You don't need to be a good dancer to do well in this class. The dance history lessons are interesting and I enjoyed getting to dance in several different styles.

PE: There is no homework in this class (obviously, it's PE). Just be sure to dress out and participate. This class was very enjoyable.

In many ways how you will do in this class ( I took Geometry with her) is very much put into your hands. In her class you are allowed to eat, play video games, listen to music, etc. as long as you aren't being disruptive. I personally really liked this teaching method cause it is flexible for many types of learners. Even so it puts it in your hands to learn the content and pay attention ( or jump ahead) as much as you want. Many extra credit opportunities are given and if many formulas are needed a note card is often allowed as well as a calculator. My biggest tip is don't fall behind on her lectures and overestimate your abilities to multitask.

Chemistry was the worst class I've ever taken. I enjoy science, but this class really beat me. Material was barely explained, and then we'd get a worksheet or lab to do with very little guidance. Tests were extremely hard and the reviews provided were super broad and didn't help unless you went into depth on every single topic taught during the unit. Terrible class. Try to transfer out.
