Make sure to ask how to improve your essays, there is always room to grow! Don’t stress too much about this class, enjoy your time in it because it will go by fast.
Class of 2021
I didn't like the readings for this class as much as other honors/AP english classes, but I did like the mythology sections. There is also a section where we read a YA book based around another culture that I found to be very interesting, and even now (3 years later) I'm reading the books that other groups read.

Do your homework and stay organized! Follow instructions ver carefully. Overall fun class.

I absolutely love Mrs. McGlaughlin! She is incredibly funny and one of my favorite teachers on campus. She makes everyone smile and laugh, and is clearly passionate about her job. Make sure to follow all essay guidelines and you’ll be fine!
Class of 2021
McGlaughlin can be polarizing, but personally I really liked her. She brought in food for us constantly, although they were odd choices sometimes. She can be a bit eccentric at times, and I also love her passion for activism. I know someone who didn't like her because he felt that she disrespected Christianity but personally I didn't experience that.
Class of 2020
She changed my life in the bridges program. She is tough on the outside but once you form a relationship she will do anything for you to help you succeed and be the best person you can be. I’m so grateful for her!
