We had several presentations that coincided with MUN roasts and conferences, which made the workload feel like a lot. We also had many group projects.

Honors English 1: The class was very challenging but worth it. I learned a lot during my freshman year. That being said, he does assign a lot of homework. Make sure to always complete it, or you will struggle in his class. There will be a lot of writing assignments, and he grades them very thoroughly - I've never had a teacher give me such good notes and corrections on my writing. There will be a few assignments where you will be expected to memorize something. He also has quite a few class presentations, I'd say that about a third are group presentations though. He is always in his class room for help and responds to his emails very promptly, so if you need help - talk with him. As soon as you see yourself struggling, speak with him, the material only gets harder throughout the year.
