I had her precalc excel class. Study before hand, not the night before, you need to learn a lot of formulas and other things throughout the class. Her homework is on web assign, she posts homework for each module ex. 5. 1, 5. 2, etc. Before a test she posts a study guide and sometimes gives paper study guides. Write all notes and homework with work properly in notebook as she does random checks for points. Tests are paper written tests with sometimes one or two multiple choice questions. She doesn't post notes so get them from a friend if you miss class as she usually writes notes per class and throws them away per class. If you mess up with a homework and miss the deadline, dont ignore it, be honest about. it and speak to her, she may give you an extension especially if it is your "first" offense however, DO NOT try to take advantage of her as she will know and it is just not nice to do such a thing to a smart and kind woman that Mrs. Balmanoukyan is

Mrs. Balmanoukyan is a very kind and sweet woman. She teaches well however the concept can be hard for students. I do not see how any student who asks her questions, does the work, and studies ahead of time(not just night before), could get below an A. She deeply cares about her students and is great at making lighthearted jokes in class and at students. She is great to talk to and is very understanding.
