tournaments are worth a lot of extra credit so if your grade is low, go to a tournament. the grading is mildly strict, but not too bad. make sure to meet the time requirements for speeches and always make your points clear. if you need help with smth, go during lunch. get in touch with the captains, especially if you're going to tournaments

Mr. Matley is a legend. I highly advise taking this class.

Make sure to go to the tournaments because they give immense amounts of extra credit.

Mr. Matley is one of the best debate teachers in the country. He is a fun guy and loves speech and debate.
