Take a lot of notes and study well. Don't procrastinate because it does pile up if you do.

You need to study to death (vocab) or have photographic memory. I have excellent memory and I still struggled considerably. Take notes whenever he assigns readings, because he assigns surprise quizzes after. Everything in his class is a surprise, and most of them are bad. His lectures are decent but I wish he would explain more instead of zooming ahead to the next concept (Ex: Chi square). Know your formulas too. The labs are pretty disorganized and gave me PTSD. If you want a remotely decent grade you need to study every day and stay on top of your stuff. Just study just in case; you might have a surprise FRQ waiting for you the next day. Hit your weak areas hard and don't procrastinate. Don't sleep in class; you will miss out on a lot because he tries to cram everything in. For the 2020 AP test we had to write something about sunshine and apples, so I guess it could have been worse. If you're thinking about going to med school, this class might just change your mind. Inman is pretty absentminded and didn't know half of my class so you have to be assertive and make sure he knows you so you get your Positive Participation. Those babies can either make or break your grade. Study hard for the FRQs too; those can REALLY hurt you.. His class is very difficult for an AP Bio class. I regretted taking it and should have taken APES instead. There was also a massive cheating ring and I don't know if he was aware of it. He can also get temperamental, for example, when labs go wrong, but he at least tries to be a nice guy. He also thinks he's teaching college students, not 16 and 17 year olds and I feel like he expects too much from us.
