Understand all of the key ideas from the concepts and topics taught in this class. This class is way easier if you have a background in general biology. Life science is a new topic (and it can get rough), so make sure you're understanding and regularly reviewing the material, and ask Mr. Aochi if you have any questions.
Be prepared for source interpretation and analysis. The projects are intense so make sure to split your assignments into daily chunks. There are only two tests, the first being a geography quiz (just memorize all the names and locations) and the second being a combination of a government quiz (matching what the Executive Judicial and Legislative branches do so make sure to read the packet and remember everything because most kids in our class failed) and the interpretation of a Founding Fathers paragraph (so make sure to remember + understand all of the annotations Mrs. Byrne writes). This class is one of the best so make sure to enjoy it along with the analysis of history.
