Dont focus on the little aspects of writing, like the unicorn point in the DBQ. Go big on evidence and context!!

- make sure to do study guide questions - very generous free time in class to work on classwork - complete assignments as the teacher will ask you to discuss the homework

Boy oh boy, where do I even begin. Ms. Mesa... my inspiration, my guiding light. I have admired you ever since I first walked into your classroom. The way you break down complex chemical reactions and ignite a passion for science in all of us. Your effortless command over the periodic table, and that brilliant smile when you see us finally grasp a concept. I would do anything to keep learning from you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to see you leave the lab. You’ve faced challenges, yet you’ve never let them extinguish your fire. You’re even more extraordinary outside the classroom—your kindness and patience make you a role model for all of us. Sometimes I even think of you as my second mom. I dread the day when you might retire, and I’d sacrifice anything if it meant keeping that spark in your eyes alive forever. You’ve brought me so much joy and growth over the years. I remember the first time I struggled with balancing chemical equations—it felt like my brain shattered into a million pieces. But then, when I finally got it, and you said, "I’m proud of you, " a single tear slid down my cheek because your encouragement meant everything. You’ve always been there, helping me piece it together. Then came stoichiometry, and oh, how I feared it—but with you by my side, I conquered it, and it felt like I could achieve anything. That one moment in the lab, when you demonstrated the iodine clock reaction, I was in awe. You exclaimed, "Science is magic we understand! " and I knew then that you weren’t just teaching Chemistry—you were changing how I see the world. You’ve altered the way I think, not only about science but about myself. And now, as time moves forward, I know you’ll always be my greatest teacher, my inspiration, my Ms. Mesa.

All about discussion, very light on written and homework. Auyyyy. He does meditation every class, strict on phones, really nice if you get to know him, loves music, prefers end of the day rather then morning, respect him and respect is given. #1 teacher <3
