Took them during covid distance learning for chemistry so I can't provide too much about how the class is normally, however: Homework is clear and strongly resembled the tests. A sheet with problems relating to the lesson with very few / none written response portions. Write down the charts given in class with element info / formulas, use them on hw, and then retry the problems you got wrong after being corrected with teacher in class. Class and HW structure made knowing what and how to study very clear. Class is extremely fair and felt secure I was given the tools I needed to pass.

Swager is an amazing teacher. Always ready to help and respond to emails fast. Makes students feel welcome and equipped to tackle any lesson. During covid distance learning for chemistry, Included pictures of their cats in lesson powerpoints and tied them into the main principle of the lesson. Went over hw clearly and understandable. Teaches very simply and directly where a good classroom environment is created. No pressure felt if you had to ask a question or needed something re-explained. A+, 110% would recommend.
