Do the Qs and Is (Questions and Identifications). They're there for a reason. You'll be able to retain the knowledge by doing them and do well on the tests, which are every week on Friday. However, DO NOT procrastinate on the Qs and Is, otherwise, expect to be pulling all-nighters every Thursday for the entire year. There's lots of extra credit (you could have an F- test average but still have an A+ in the class), so there's no rounding. In class, you'll be taking video notes and having meaningful discussions on the various topics, and every so often, expect to write SAQs and DBQs. March through May, you undergo intensive review, writing essays everyday, but it's worth it as the APUSH exam pass rate is 75%, and the 5 rate is approx. 25%
