This teacher hosts a very rigorous English 9 course if you either work too much or work too little. It is necessary to take note of almost every guideline she lays down for an essay before you begin writing or you will be doomed to wasting an extra 3 hours trying to revise your paper. However, I, personally, will say that these guidelines majorly benefitted me as a writer and made my writing more powerful and communicative. As another important note, the grammar this teacher teaches and demonstrates in front of the class is AP-English-3-level grammar. She is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had in terms of teaching my entire class and me grammar-absolutely phenomenal yet difficult to grasp at first (which is no problem, as she offered ample help to students struggling to grasp the grammar concept). Even though her 9th-grade English course brought forth substantial amounts of rigor to its students, I would personally say that it benefitted both my fellow peers and me substantially in the long run. Even though parts of the class were frustrating and very time consuming, I truly learned a lot in this class that made me a way better communicator and writer.

Be patient, pay very close attention to instructions and lectures (take very good notes too), and try to connect with her, as she is a genuinely nice teacher both in terms of her academic merit and the beneficial-to-know material she teaches in class as well as in terms of her really kind and sweet personality. I am not an intelligent student by any means, but following these three things got me an A both semesters in her class.
