During quizzes, if he lets you use a notecard, USE IT. Especially in grammar, Mr. Yépez covers a lot of material that will be very hard to recall when testing comes around. Be sure to pay attention to his lectures, and take notes. They will greatly help you in his class. He also writes a lot of stuff on the board, so either copy it down into your notes, or take a picture of it when he is done writing(he will sometimes do this and post it on the classroom for review. ) Most of all, be kind and respectful to him. Mr. Yépez is an amazing teacher and deserves to be treated as such.

Even early in the morning, I always enjoyed Mr. Yépez' class (even when he hadn't had coffee yet! )
