This class is a lecture based class in which students take notes based off of a general outline on the board and a lecture from the teacher. The tests come directly from college board, preparing students well for the AP exam. There is a textbook to go with the curriculum that is provided by AP so this is an extremely helpful resource (and you have to use it for the reading guides anyway so you might as well do it when it is assigned rather than the night before)

Lots of writing involved-- get used to writing in ink. Mrs. Anderson reviews all of the material before tests-- as long as you listen to her lectures and do some extra vocab study outside of class, you should be fine!
